A prompt is the description you write for an AI tool. The more specific it is, the fewer attempts you need.
The five elements
- Subject: exactly what appears in the image
- Scene: where, and what background
- Lighting: soft, dramatic, daylight
- Angle: close, from above, eye level
- Style: realistic photo, illustration, 3D
An example
Instead of "a perfume photo", write: a perfume bottle on a black pedestal, dark background, golden side light, close-up, realistic advertising photography. The difference in the result is large.
Say what you don't want
If you don't want text or logos in the image, say so explicitly. Tools tend to add details you never asked for.
Try and adjust
Don't rewrite everything on each attempt. Change one element and compare. That is how you learn what affects the result.
The takeaway
A specific description, one element changed at a time, and a clear statement of what you don't want.
